KEN SCHRADER RETURNS TO HOME TRACK FOR ARCA RACING SERIES WITH DRYDENE PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS

CONCORD, N.C.  (June 18, 2018) –   Ken Schrader, owner of the No. 52 Drydene Performance Products Ford is jumping behind the wheel of his own car at Gateway Motorsports Park, on Friday, June 22 in the Pappa Nicholas Coffee 150 ARCA Racing Series. This will be Schrader’s first return visit to his ‘hometrack’ in more than 10 years.

Schrader has one previous ARCA Racing Series race in 2005 at Gateway Motorsports Park, the track closest to his Fenton, MO home and started on the pole and finished third. Schrader has competed in six NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races at the 1.25-mile oval, just over the bridge from the city of St. Louis.

“I am looking forward to returning to Gateway Motorsports Park with my ARCA team this week.  The team has prepared a great race car which we will test on Thursday in preparation for Friday’s race.  We are excited to be carrying the Drydene colors and hope to give them a great finish!”  said Ken Schrader.

“Seeing Ken Schrader behind the wheel of the No. 52 Drydene Ford at his hometown track is going to be a thrill not only for our customers and employees, but for race fans everywhere,” said Dave Klinger, president of Drydene Performance Products. “Team Drydene is very proud to be aligned with Ken and the entire Schrader Racing organization, and looks forward to a great race at Gateway.”

Schrader has competed in 81 ARCA Racing Series races in 26 years as a driver, amassing 18 wins, 52 top-five, 65 top-ten and 21 poles. Ken Schrader Racing is the defending 2017 ARCA Racing Series Championship team.

Will Rodgers, who normally drives for KSR in the ARCA Racing Series for Drydene, has entered the NASCAR K & N Pro Series West race at Sonoma Raceway on Saturday, June 23 and has given the wheel to his boss, “I can’t wait to watch the race on Friday night with Ken behind the wheel, this will be fun for the fans, and hopefully the KSR Drydene crew too.”
