July 17, 2017 - EJ Prescott Partners with Ken Schrader Racing and Driver, Austin Theriault
1 Concord, N.C. (July 17, 2017) – EJ Prescott, Inc.  (EJP) of Gardiner, Maine, has partnered with Ken Schrader Racing, Inc. and its driver Austin Theriault for the upcoming ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards race at Lucas Oil Raceway in Brownsburg, Indiana.

The company, a  distributor of products for the water, waste water, and storm water industries, was founded as Everett J. Prescott, Inc. in 1955 and has been expanding its product line ever since.  EJP now has 28 locations in nine states and serves all of the Northeast and Midwest.

“We have known Austin for several years and watched his career develop over these years,” Steve Prescott, president of EJP said. “We worked with Austin when he put together his MAINE tourism car which he ran at Kentucky Motor Speedway.  He has been our guest at a few trade shows, but we have not worked directly sponsoring a car until now.

1“We are excited to be working with Austin and KSR for the race in Indianapolis … this is a good opportunity for our employees and customers to see what a fine young man Austin is and to help grow his fan base as well as KSR’s in that market.  We have four locations serving the Indiana market as well two in nearby Ohio.”

Theriault is the current ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards points leader.  He has won three races in the #52 for the KSR team this season.  He has also finished in the Top 10 in all of the 2017 ARCA races to date. A native of Maine, Theriault has enjoyed a strong relationship with EJP and values greatly the home state connection.

“EJP is a well-respected company in Maine,” Theriault said. “I’ve seen the huge impact the company and the Prescott family has had in the communities where they work.  The family has been involved in racing for a long time and I am thankful to have their support in Indianapolis, where they have a company presence. We’ve been successful at the short tracks all year and I hope to keep that trend going.”

The Sioux Chief Power PEX 200 will be shown LIVE on FS1 on Friday, July 21 at 9 p.m. (Eastern).  For more information about EJP visit ejprescott.com.
