 May 23, 2016 (Toledo, Ohio) – Matt Kurzejewski and the Ken Schrader Racing team have shown improvements with each race and the Menards 200 at Toledo Speedway was no different. The Federated Auto Care – Menards team brought home its first top-5 finish of the 2016 season during Sunday’s Menards 200.
During Saturday’s practice sessions for the ARCA Racing Series Presented by Menards, the Federated Auto Care – Menards team focused on getting its Toyota to the driver’s liking on race runs. Kurzejewski and the No.52 team ended both practices respectively in the top-ten on the speed charts.
Next up on Saturday was Menards Pole Qualifying Presented by Ansell in which Kurzejewski matched his session best qualifying effort by placing his Toyota in the fifth position for the Menards 200.
Once the green flag fell on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in Toledo, Kurzejewski settled comfortably into the seventh position early on. The Federated Auto Care – Menards team utilized a caution at lap 79 to come down pit road for two new General Tires and adjustments to its Toyota. <<MORE>> |
