(Daytona Beach, FL - Feb 15th, 2016) - Matt Kurzejewski, who came into the weekend, as a favorite to win the Lucas Oil 200 Driven by General Tire at Daytona International Speedway was ready to tackle the season opening race in his Ken Schrader Racing prepared Ansell Protects - Menards Toyota.
With veteran crew chief Donnie Richeson calling the shots on the No.52 machine, Kurzejewski was quick in both practice sessions and felt this car was the best car he has had for his fourth race at the prestigious Daytona International Speedway.
“We showed speed all weekend and this team gave me the best opportunity I’ve had to win at Daytona.” stated Kurzejewski.
Kurzejewski, who came into the weekend with a best start of fifteenth, qualified seventh on Friday afternoon for the Lucas Oil 200 Driven by General Tire. <<MORE>> |
