Busy July Rages on for Schrader Racing
Concord, N.C. (July 9, 2014) - Ken Schrader set a record when he sat on the pole for last Sunday’s ARCA race at Winchester Speedway (Indiana). After leading 88 laps, a late race pit stop cost him track position and Schrader finished the day in fourth position. Schrader will be back in the ARCA car at Lucas Oil Raceway on July 25.
Schrader has nine short track races scheduled for the remainder of July. In addition to his #9 Federated Auto Parts dirt modified, he will compete in a midget at Bear Ridge Speedway in Bradford, Vermont this weekend and in Tony Stewart’s Silver Crown car on July 24 at Lucas Oil Raceway.
Sandwiched between the short track and ARCA races, Schrader will see NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competition at Eldora Speedway for the July 23 Midsummer Classic. Last year in this race he sat on the pole, breaking a NASCAR record.
Matt Tifft will compete in the #52 Federated Auto Parts Chevy at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on July 11 in the NASCAR K & N East race. He will then handle driving responsibilities for KSR, Inc. at the ARCA Series race at Chicagoland Speedway on July 19. On July 25, Tifft will drive a second ARCA car for the KSR stable at Lucas Oil Raceway.
July is shaping up to be busy for the entire KSR crew and its drivers. Keep an eye on our facebook page and website for updates. |
